ALBall First. Turf After. 💥
This is the real difference between a clean strike and a heavy or thin one. The club meets the ball first, then the turf — because the body has moved the low point forward.
Here’s how it happens 👇
✅ Weight & pressure forward — by impact, around 70–80% of pressure is into the lead side. The body shifts before the hands ever “hit.”
✅ Chest rotates through — not hanging back. Rotation keeps the handle leading and prevents early release.
✅ Lead wrist flat, trail wrist bent — maintaining shaft lean without forcing it.
✅ Lead hip clears & extends — this opens space for the hands to move forward and down through impact.
The result:
• Low point ahead of the ball
• Compression through the turf
• Flighted, controlled shots
If your body stalls, the club overtakes — that’s when you hit behind or scoop. Keep the pivot moving, and let your rotation deliver the shaft lean naturally.
Ball → Turf → Divot.
It’s not just better contact — it’s better movement.
