To all the women out there, you are not too loud, too big, too opinionated, or too much. 💖🎞️ and 💬 by @bytianamichele ”Women are told from such a young age that they need to learn how to make themselves smaller, and it permeates every part of life. Our commute to work, how we sit, how we dress, where we stand, when we smile, where we walk… it’s everywhere. Men are not taught these things. They take space whenever and wherever they want because they’ve been told that they can. Not only that they can, but the space is theirs to take. and so we all continue to move through life, squeezing into the space that’s leftover. To be clear, the world I created for this film is not a better world or a world I wish to live in—it is a mirror—it is the world we live in now, just the other way around.
