The surf was so strong that it essentially just washed right back to shore. 🤣 We put in back out in the ocean for them. We know you'll be bubbling with gratitude to Delta for its efforts but save a little love for my two fellow Ohioans who actually made your flight possible 121 years ago today: THE WRIGHTS. Also for Smithsonian Air and Space. The Institute spent years making amends for some famous early slights to the Wrights; the preserved original Flyer now nests in an exhibit that, gotta say, gives the brothers and their work context and proper respect. (We also traipsed #KittyHawk, and the presentation there is not to be missed.) Probably the final One Minute at a Time™ of the year. Lots in the works for 2025!
