Here’s a little insight into my first visit to Looe and @tallandbayhotel earlier this month! And oh wow, what a place. Firstly let’s talk about Looe, located less than a 10 minute drive from our hotel in south east Cornwall. This coastal town is a fantastic place for wandering around narrow streets filled with boutique and foodie hotspots as well as the famous banjo pier and east Looe beach. We loved being a tourist for the day. We then headed to Talland Bay Hotel located on a secluded stretch of the Cornish coast with unbeatable ocean views. This location is so unspoilt and undiscovered it really is a hidden gem worth checking out. Our sea view room was spacious, had a super king size bed (Our 8 month old took up most the space 🫣) and came with our own seating area. We headed out to view the grounds and stopped off for a lie down on the lawn sun loungers, you could see Talland Bay cove below. The hotel’s garden is dotted with curiosities to pique your interest. It pulls at your childhood imagination. It was so so quirky I loved it. The restaurant here really surpassed our expectations, we feasted on lobster, fillet steak, beef carpaccio, crab, all with an ocean backdrop. The menu had so many options. Loved loved loved our stay. Christmas shopping in Cornwall🎄 Will & I recently hopped on the service 10 bus from Plymouth to Looe for a little festive outing. We planned our journey with Transport for Cornwall and found an easy direct route which was a treat to our usual go-to of driving!
