Here’s how it works! 👇 ⏺ The forged part is first magnetized with a electromagnet magnet which creates a magnetic field within the material. ⏺ After magnetization, fine magnetic particles (usually in the form of a powder or liquid) are applied to the surface of the part. ⏺ When there are cracks, voids, or other discontinuities on the surface or near the surface, the magnetic field is disrupted.
