What if the smartest way to build wealth wasn’t innovation… but imitation? That’s exactly what today’s guest used to build a billion-dollar fortune. Comment ‘Billion’ and I’ll personally DM you the full conversation. Mohnish Pabrai, welcome to The Diary Of A CEO. Mohnish isn’t just another investor. He manages a 10-figure hedge fund, has beaten the market for decades, and runs a nonprofit that lifts thousands of families out of poverty each year. He’s called one of Warren Buffett’s closest disciples. And the mental models he’s developed could change the way you think about money, risk, and even your career. We cover: - Why entrepreneurship isn’t risky, but a 9-to-5 job is? - Warren Buffett’s “punch card rule” that could transform your investing. - Why cloning proven ideas beats chasing originality in business and investing. - The hidden risks no one tells you about in investing. - Why day traders will never make it into the Forbes 400. What stood out to me most was how happy Mohnish is. I’ve met so many people with money, but very few with peace. He’s built billions, but he’s also built a life that he actually enjoys. If you want to understand the rules of money from one of the greatest investors alive, you need to watch this. Search “The Diary of a CEO Mohnish Pabrai” on YouTube to watch the full episode now.

1. Understand the Business: Invest in businesses that you understand and can predict where they’ll be in the future.  2. Circle of Competence: Stay within your circle of competence, and expand that circle slowly.  3. Margin of Safety: Always buy with a significant margin of safety. It’s better to be approximately right than precisely wrong.  4. Patience and Discipline: Wait for the right opportunities and avoid the temptation to constantly trade.  5. Avoid Stupidity: Instead of trying to be brilliant, just try to avoid doing dumb things.  6. Beware of Leverage: Debt can magnify gains, but it can also magnify losses. It’s not necessary to use significant leverage to achieve great returns.  7. Objective Thinking: Remove any personal bias and look at the facts and numbers objectively.  8. Invert: Always invert. Consider problems in reverse. Think about what could go wrong and avoid those situations 9. Latticework of Mental Models: Build a repertoire of mental models from various disciplines to help you make better decisions.  10. Ethics and Integrity: Always operate with the highest level of integrity. Comment “LINK” to get links! 🚀 Want to learn Data Structures and Algorithms in a way that actually sticks? This mini roadmap helps you go from confused beginner to solving problems confidently with the right mental models. 🎓 DSA Visualizer Perfect first step if you get lost in theory. You can visually understand how stacks, queues, trees, heaps, and sorting actually move step by step. Great for building intuition before you grind LeetCode. 📘 VisuAlgo DSA Now level up your understanding with interactive animations and explanations for classic algorithms and data structures. This is amazing for topics like BFS, DFS, shortest paths, hashing, heaps, segment trees, and complexity intuition. 💻 USFCA CS Lectures Time to learn the real foundations. These university style notes and visuals help you understand data structures, recursion, runtime analysis, and algorithm design patterns properly so you are not just memorizing solutions. 💡 With these DSA resources you will: Understand core data structures with visual intuition Learn common algorithm patterns for interviews Improve problem solving for LeetCode and coding assessments Build a strong base for system design and backend engineering If you are serious about software engineering interviews, competitive programming, or becoming a stronger developer, mastering DSA is one of the highest ROI skills. 📌 Save this post so you do not lose the roadmap. 💬 Comment “LINK” and I will send you all the links. 👉 Follow for more content on DSA, coding interviews, and software engineering.

How did this 17 year old making £110K from his bedroom? Simple. By following this 3 step formula. 1. Find something you’re good at that others aren’t. 2. Find a group of people who want that particular thing. 3. Give it to them and just do that 100 times. Super simple, repeatable formula that worked before - and certainly works now. There are two types of skills you can learn. Most people waste their lives mastering the wrong one. They focus on domain-specific skills, playing chess, editing videos, coding in one language, thinking repetition alone makes them elite. It doesn’t. Because the real advantage isn’t the skill itself. It’s the meta-skill behind it. This is day 1 of leveling up your brain. Your brain stores learning in two fundamentally different systems: Procedural memory is technique. It’s locked to one context. You learn how to do something, but only inside that exact domain. Conceptual frameworks are principles. They transfer. They map onto unlimited situations. If you learn chess as “this move beats that move,” you stay average. A grandmaster doesn’t memorize positions. They recognize patterns that repeat across thousands of games. That’s the difference: Procedural learners collect isolated tricks. Framework thinkers build mental models. And once you have mental models, you don’t start from zero in new fields. You enter with an entire library of patterns already installed. That’s why polymaths learn faster. That’s why strategists outperform grinders. That’s why the meta level is where real intelligence lives. Stop only asking: “How do I get better at this?” Start asking: “What principle is hiding underneath this skill that applies everywhere?” Master the framework, and every domain becomes easier. #LevelUpYourBrain #selfimprovement #performance #mindset #learning

The biggest skill you can develop isn’t intelligence. It’s how fast you reset. Life constantly throws small disruptions at you. A conversation that goes wrong. A day where nothing works. A decision you immediately regret. None of these events are rare. They’re statistically inevitable. 🧠 What actually separates people isn’t avoiding mistakes — it’s recovery speed. Psychologists sometimes call this psychological resilience: the ability to return to baseline after stress, failure, or emotional disturbance. Some people stay mentally stuck for days. Others reset in minutes. Same event. Completely different trajectory. ⚡ Your life is not determined by what happens to you. It’s determined by how long you stay inside it. Bad conversation? Move on. Bad day? Start again tomorrow. Poor decision? Adjust course. The faster you reset, the less power chaos has over your direction. 🚀 Follow @quantum__enigma if you enjoy ideas that make you see human behavior a little differently. psychological resilience, emotional resilience, mental reset, resilience psychology, human behavior patterns, cognitive recovery, mental models psychology, emotional recovery speed
