Number 3 changed everything for me 👇🏽 Everyone overthinks But the more it happens the more it damages - confidence and focus - mental and physical performance - happiness and peace These 4 things helped me overcome it And now overthinking is a thing of the past. 1. Get out the mind - whenever the mind is overactive, MOVE THE BODY - dance, run, any physical activity. - this disrupts the brain 2. Write it - seems obvious but so many people don’t do it - when your mind is racing, get a piece of paper and write whatever comes up. - then cross what you can’t control and focus on what you can 3. Overthinking is underfeeling - ask yourself, what feeling am I avoiding? - one emotion can = 100’s of thoughts - most the time it will be fear, guilt, worry or anger 4. Visualise the outcome - a lot of overthinking comes from fear of failure or not trusting ourselves - atheltes mentally rehearse who they will be, how they will perform and see success - the more you do this; the more the brain wires to be more confident These have been HUGELY beneficial for the atheltes and executives I work with.
