Mocapped characters are just for movies & games? Think again! There are plenty of applications for capturing the realistic and exact movements of a person, for example the health and fitness industries! It is crucial for many exercises to perform them in a specific and controlled manner to avoid injuries. Our high fidelity system can capture these fine details and once you have the 3D animated character, you have the freedom of staging it any way you like: circle the character to show the pose from any angle, zoom into a specific part to show minor adjustments in posture, overlay visual representations of bones or muscles, just to name a few. This short clip was created using an animation of a resistance band exercise we recorded for a physiotherapy app in collaboration with @dnm.berlin. Upgrade your next project with motion capture! I’m sure this is a personal gripe, and I would be curious if you showed a new fan SW and they saw all of TCW before rebels if they would feel the tension I describe here. Being a fan that had consumed the content as it released, knowing Maul and Ahsoka (and Rex for that matter) are alive and well by Rebels, takes the stakes down a bit for me. Just a consequence of release schedules, unfortunately. ***this also was inspired by a FANTASTIC comment left on our YT video by @kateasaurus.rex that I’ll post in stories.
