Another way to use up old empty jars! 🥒 I’m so in love with these whimsical fairy lanterns, all you need is mod podge, pressed flowers, fairy lights, and a few empty jars ✨ Clean and dry your jars, then brush on mod podge. Stick the pressed flowers to the outside of the jar, then coat again in mod podge. Allow to dry fully before using. Floral Mason Jars 🌸 Place fresh flowers in between paper towels. I used two on the bottom and two on the top. Press with a plate and in the microwave..30 second intervals…up to 1:30. Check and if the towels are wet change them before you put them back in for another 30. Let them sit for a bit to dry out. Brush Mod Podge on the on mason jars and place on flowers and then brush over flowers. You can also use 1 cup of glue and 1/3 cup of water instead of Mod Podge..that works the same. Candles or fairy lights make them magical 💕🌸⭐️

🎨🩷😭 My most favorite piece ever!! I used my kids’ artwork to create a piece of art for our home, and I’m honestly so in love with how it turned out. Our new house has a lot of whites and neutrals, and I’ve been searching for pieces that feel personal and intentional. When I saw the original artist (she has an e-course ), I knew I wanted to try my own version. I had never used Mod Podge before, but it was surprisingly easy. I used it as the glue to adhere the artwork to the canvas and as the seal on top. A few things I learned that might help you if you try this: • Start with less Mod Podge—you can always add more. I used too much on my first piece, which was watercolor, and it bled a bit. • Make sure each layer is completely dry before sealing over the top. • Add pieces slowly and move them around until it feels right. I cut some artwork and pieced it together as I went. I used a 30x40 canvas, and now we’re deciding where to hang it—either the dining room or right off the living room entry. I’ll update you once it’s up! I also grabbed some great hanging ideas, so stay tuned. For supplies, I used sponges, regular paint brushes, and a Mod Podge roller, which really helped seal everything down evenly. I may do one more seal in the morning, but overall this project was so doable. Side note for fellow parents: I keep my kids’ artwork organized in plastic tubs with file-folder dividers—each grade has its own section. I don’t keep everything, but I save my favorites, and those became the pieces for this canvas. This one feels extra special. If you try it, I’d love to see how your kids’ artwork turns out 🤍

It’s so easy- head to Etsy and find your favorite downloadable art. Hint: sometimes if you “❤️” the various options you’re considering, the shop owners will send you a coupon code for some percentage off! This particular Van Gogh art piece was only $1.93! Send the download to your favorite print shop then once you have the size you need, go to town and have fun applying the Mod Podge! Try to replicate the artists’ strokes for a more authentic look and to give the piece some great dimension.
