Ho provato per la prima volta il nuovo oculus quest 3 di meta con la realtà mista e devo dire l’esperienza è stata davvero fantastica. Si pensa che questi strumenti siano solo per esperienze ludiche ma in realtà gli utilizzi nel lavoro possono essere davvero tanti. Immaginate di vedere ciò che vi serve dove vi serve! Il sogno di ogni artigiano e non solo. È Inutile, io sono un gran romantico e non mollerò mai il “fatto a mano artigianale” ma, da grande fan delle innovazioni tecnologiche, non smetterò mai di sperimentare cose nuove da “assaggiare” insieme ai miei clienti ☺️#
A proposito di clienti, spesso questi diventano amici perché ti fanno innamorare dei loro progetti, come Andrew! A cui auguro tutto il bene e la fortuna di questo mondo ❤️🙏

Every year on September 11th at exactly 10:28 a.m., a breathtaking and deeply symbolic moment takes place inside the World Trade Center’s Oculus.
Known as the “Way of Light,” the sun’s golden rays stream through the building’s skylight, forming a glowing path across the Oculus floor. The light aligns perfectly along the structure’s central axis—appearing as two towers of light standing side by side.
This alignment isn’t by chance. The Oculus’ architect, Santiago Calatrava, designed the building to create this annual phenomenon. At 10:28am, the precise moment the North Tower fell in 2001, the sun fills the space with light—serving as a powerful tribute, a reminder of resilience, and a symbol of hope.
It’s a stunning, quiet act of remembrance. A reminder that even in the shadow of tragedy, light always finds a way through. 💙

GOOD TO KNOW: 📕The rooftop skylight was built to fully retract and open, leaving a long, curved, open skylight that stretches the length of the space. The last time it opened was 2018, and has been shut since (we heard it was leaking and since has been sealed).

NEWhat I saw today in the Oculus at World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan wasn’t just sunlight, it was memory made visible. Two parallel columns of light stretched across the floor, quietly echoing the Twin Towers.
It reminded me of the annual moment on September 11th, when sunlight passes perfectly through the skylight here at 10:28 a.m., the time the second tower fell, flooding the space with light in a silent tribute.
Today wasn’t that day. And yet, the shadows appeared. A quiet reminder that even when it’s not marked on the calendar, this city remembers. In the design, in the light, in the everyday.
Some memories are built right into the walls , and they show up when we least expect them, asking us to pause, look down, and reflect.

Cada 11 de septiembre, este edificio se convierte en un homenaje silencioso.A las 8:46 a.m., hora en que el primer avión impactó la Torre Norte, la luz entra por la abertura del techo.Y a las 10:28 a.m., el momento en que colapsó la segunda torre, el sol se alinea creando un camino de luz que recuerda la silueta de las Torres Gemelas.
El Oculus fue diseñado por el arquitecto español Santiago Calatrava y abrió en 2016 como parte del nuevo World Trade Center.
Su forma blanca con “alas” fue creada para representar una paloma o un ave volando, símbolo de paz, esperanza y renacimiento después de la tragedia del 11 de septiembre.
La construcción tomó más de una década y costó aproximadamente 4 mil millones de dólares, convirtiéndose en una de las estaciones de transporte más caras del mundo.
Nueva York está lleno de detalles que cuentan su historia… y este es uno de los más conmovedores.
