💡 Want to invest in Bitcoin without actually buying Bitcoin? Enter: Bitcoin ETFs. An ETF (exchange-traded fund) lets you invest in Bitcoin through the stock market—no wallets, no keys, no exchanges. 📊 👉 You simply buy shares of the ETF like you would a stock, and it tracks the price of Bitcoin. 👉 This makes it easier (and often safer) for beginners to dip into crypto without the stress of managing it directly. Think of it as a bridge between Wall Street and crypto. 🌉✨ ⚠️ Not financial advice. When it comes to paying off your debt, having a clear path to success is important. It will take you much longer and cost you more money if you don’t have a clear plan in place. Most of the time, it starts with deciding what method you want to use – the Avalanche or the Snowball. The Avalanche method is paying off the highest interest rate debt first. The Snowball method is paying off the debt with the smallest balances first. No matter what method you choose, make sure you are taking advantage of the rollover effect. Some people will assume they have more discretionary income after paying off a debt. Technically, you do since you no longer have a payment. But what you do with that freed-up money is important, especially if you have more than one debt. After deciding what method you want to use, you will have one priority debt that you are focusing on while you make minimum payments on the rest of your debt. When you pay off your priority debt, the freed-up money then gets applied (rolled over into the payment of) your next priority debt. This is the rollover effect. As you pay off each debt on your list, keep applying the freed-up money to your next debt. Are you using the rollover effect?

#uninoticias #finanzas #finanzaspersonales #personalfinances #finances #economy #economia

“Am I budgeting the right amount?!” 🤷🏻‍♀️ I get this question a lot! An easy rule to follow is the 50/30/20 Budget rule. 50% of take home pay goes toward NEEDS. 30% of take home pay goes toward WANTS. 20% of take home pay goes toward SAVINGS (or debt). Of course every person’s situation is unique. Feel free to move these numbers around a little to work for YOU! Ready to make budgeting EASY? I’ll go first. I was paying £65 a month for monthly internet and yesterday I called them up, realised I’d been paying out of contract for 3 YEARS and they put it back down to £35. I overpaid nearly £1000 because I just didn’t check bill comparison websites. I’m gonna do the same for my electricity now! I started investing when I was 28 which I thought was early until I met these kids on TikTok who have been investing since they were 18 😅 Anyhoo, I’ve learned a few lessons during this time: ✅ There are no get rich quick schemes & a lot more ways to lose money. Investing works If you’re in it for the long term. Decades not weeks. This is why I don’t day trade. ✅ 401Ks & IRAs and all other retirement accounts are GREAT. They lower the tax burden today & tomorrow depending on which ones you choose & the funds offered in them have improved over time. ✅ There are LEGAL tax loopholes for accessing these accounts early. I’ll reshare my video about this in my stories. ✅ Investing is simple but it’s not intuitive — you need to learn how it works so you’re prepared for market downturns & staying on track with your investment plan. My April budget is complete! I decided to rollover $100 of unused cash from my budget cash envelopes from March. I know I won't be spending all of my cash envelopes this month, so I decided to fund my Easter shopping for April. That's what cashflowing an expense looks like. I didn't have a dedicated sinking fund for Easter, so I'm using income to cover that expense as it pops up. Next, I decided any extra income from my paycheck in April will go towards my Landscaping savings. To create a paycheck budget, here are the steps I take. 1. List any estimated guaranteed income. I always estimate based on the worst case scenario or the least amount I expect to receive. 2. I list out all fixed expenses INCLUDING any automatic savings or investment contributions. All minimum debt payments would also be listed here. 3. I then write down my variable spending category budgets and I use cash envelopes. 4. After that, since I'm debt-free, I focus on preparing for future holiday and events with cash (sinking funds) and long-term financial goals. Everyone's budget will look differently because we all have different situations and goals. The most important thing is that you are throwing your money towards things that YOU value. As always, there is never a right way to budget. The "right" way, is the way that works for you! Have you completed your April budget?

When will taxes come back down? 📉 The UK is facing its highest tax burden in decades, yet many feel that their quality of life isn’t getting any better! ❌ No one wants to pay more tax, but it might be an easier pill to swallow if people knew that taxes would come back down when the economy recovers! ✅ Knowing that there’s a light at the end of the tunnel is better than worrying that the government will be coming back for more and raising our taxes again next year! 📈 Let me know what you think in the comments! ➡️ #personalfinances #taxes #uk

Comment 💁🏻‍♀️ SNAPSHOT to grab my free training to see where your money is really going. Most people have slowly slipped into the habit of mindlessly buying stuff they don’t need without even realizing it. If you’re earning great money, you might not realize how much of it you’re unintentionally flushing down the drain. The thing is - if you’re doing this, you’re most likely thinking about money in the back of your mind at least 3 times a day. You’re dreaming about going on an awesome family vacation to Hawaii or Disney, but it seems too expensive. 😬 Maybe you’re not sure you’re on track for retirement, and that’s a whole separate stressful issue. Here’s the thing: you don’t have to be a super penny pincher to save money, you just have to be intentional about how you choose to use your resources. 👌🏼 I’m a huge believer in investing in the stock market - whether you like it or not, it’s the easiest, best way to build wealth in my opinion. 💰 The stock market will continue to grow with or without you participating in overconsumption. 💯 If you’re afraid you might have fallen into the over-consumption trap, and you’d rather use your money to build passive income in the stock market, comment 👉🏼SNAPSHOT to grab my free training and workbook to see where your money is really going! 💸Follow @rachel_talksmoney 💸Follow @rachel_talksmoney 💸Follow @rachel_talksmoney
