WO5 places not to miss in Koh Phi Phi 🏝️
1. The over famous, overcrowded Maya Bay! But still, the legend and the beauty can’t be missed. Try early morning or after 3pm. You won’t be alone, but at least there will be less people. The 1st video was taken at 1pm on a weekday.
2. Monkey beach. If you want to see monkeys, come in the morning. If you don’t, come end of afternoon (3-4pm) for less crowds.
3. Phi Leh lagoon. Avoid low tides, and try to be between 10am and 2pm for the best light and colours.
4. Wang Long bay. Not every tour propose this stop, that’s why it’s a good one. Same here, try between 10am and 3pm for the good light.
5. Nui Beach. Great hidden beach, accessible by boat or with a walk through the forest with a bit of climbing. Usually less crowded than other beaches in Phi Phi Don.

EUThe highlight of our Thailand trip: boat trip around the Phi Phi islands🇹🇭 Read below for our tips🫶🏻
We stayed 2 nights on Phi Phi so we could book a private longtail boat tour around the islands and it was the best decision! We booked an experience through @getyourguide you can find the link in our stories & bio.
• we started the trip at 10.30 so we avoided the crowds and visited Maya bay and Pileh Lagoon when the water sparkled in the bluest colours (the group daytrips from Phuket and Krabi depart early and start at Maya Bay - as everyone arrives around the same time the beach gets really crowded + in the morning hours the water is not that magical blue as the bay is still in shadow) when we arrived the big boats already left, so we could enjoy all the spots with just a few other people😊
• while group trips from the far coasts have a strict agenda and only give you 30 minutes on the spots, with this private tour we could decide how much time to spend at each spot - we spent 2 hours at Maya Bay, slowly cruised through Pileh Lagoon, went snorkelling and had a slow visit at Moneky beach
• we booked the 6 hours long trip and it was perfect - before departure we could even set our own itinerary and tell which places we wanted to visit first and which spots we wanted to skip + we went with an iconic long tail boat which absolutely added to the experience!🌺
