From the first spark of conception to the final lung maturation, your body is performing the most complex task in nature. ​The Deep Research Milestones: ​The Critical First Trimester (Weeks 1-12): This is the high-sensitivity phase. You’re not alone!🤰 Here’s why it gets tricky 👇 📆 Pregnancy actually starts from first day of your last menstrual period (LMP), not at conception. 📆Pregnancy lasts 40 weeks, not exactly 9 months 📆Each month is ~4.3 weeks - so not a clean match up That means when you say “I’m 12 weeks,” that’s really 2 months + 3 weeks, not 3 full months! That’s why OBGYNs (Like me) prefer to calculate pregnancy in weeks instead of months. Because every week comes with its own tests, checkups and scans. Your baby grows much faster in your womb than you think!
