I’ve gotten a lot of requests for this video but again, keep in mind, debt relief programs are not a quick or easy fix to your debt You will still have monthly payments, they just change from going to your debt 👉🏻 the debt relief program CONS •Your credit will tank •Most of the calls to your phone will be debt collectors •You may get served for not paying your bill (this happened to me) •Takes a long time for FDR to go through and negotiate all the debt down because they can only work based on the amount in your account (how much you’ve deposited with your monthly payments) PROS •My monthly payment became more manageable •FDR were able to get me in contact with a lawyer to help me when I was served so I didn’t have to go to court •They are working on negotiating my debt down for me so I don’t have to navigate this on my own Things I’m still uncertain about: •Idk if I will have to pay any lawyer fees or if that will be paid to FDR through the process OR if it’s included in their service without charge •What the process will look like wen I decide to start paying them more aggressively/early (more than monthly minimum payments) •While they’re negotiating down my debt, I do believe I will owe the same as my initial debt, the difference just goes to FDR as their payment (this is a big assumption but I’d rather assume I will owe more than expect anything back when all is said and done) *Again, this is not financial advice - this is simply how my experience with them have been* Let me know what questions you have in the comments!
