FII've decided to start a little puzzling tips & tricks series and I am starting off with one of my favorite tricks. I call it the Quick Brute Force method.
I love to use this one when I'm on really tricky sections like highly textured areas (like fur or leaves), solid color sections (hello, @ravensburgerglobal Krypt puzzles) or just when I get particularly frustrated. I use this a lot along with shape sorting which cuts down the time even more.
I should note, I'm not a speed puzzler so I can't say whether this would help in a competition setting since there are other tactics for that, but it's handy to know for a casual puzzler who is trying to get through a spicy puzzle.
