The ROXZONE……. What is it? 👇🏻 It’s just a made up word! It’s the big old area where all the stations are and the time here still counts towards your overall race time! Should I walk it and recover? 👇🏻 NO! This Is a real opportunity to gain time in your race. At worst jog it, you may be tempted to walk but get to the next station or run ASAP. My top tips for the ROXZONE 1️⃣ Know the layout! Make sure you do a walk around prior to your race. Make sure you know the entrance and exit points 2️⃣ minimise Breaks. Treat this like a run. You wouldn’t walk on the run so don’t walk here 3️⃣ If you do need to stop for a drink or rest keep walking at least to maintain movement 4️⃣ I always run the RZ at my run pace this will ensure you don’t lose crucial seconds All of the above will help you make a huge difference to your overall time #roxzone #hyroxroxzonedeepdive #hyroxuk #hyroxhack #hyroxtips #hyroxworld #hyroxcommunity #hyroxathlete #hyroxrace #functionalmovement

It’s very important because it can actually be a big factor in why you may not be getting the time you desire at a Hyrox race. My Tip for the Roxzone is to simply RUN in it don’t walk. Try this drill: Every 5 min • 500m run • 20m lunges Finish the work, then recover with whatever time remains before the next round. It teaches you to run in, work immediately, and get back out fast. #hyrox #roxzone

Having a Wallball strategy before you get there is great but a good plan can go out the window in just a few reps. Sweaty hands and arms causing the ball to slip straight through. Heavy legs or the onset of cramp meaning you can't hit depth properly. A super strict judge who seems to have taken an instant dislike to you (jokes - the volly judges are amazing!) Or even things as silly as a ceiling light right in your eye line looking up making it harder to focus on your target. These things are more will hamper your wallballs efforts, all coming at the very worst time - when you're exhausted and just want to finish! So you NEED a plan going into station 8. HYROX is hard enough, don't wing the last 4 to 10 minutes of your race. Do this multiple times a week within your HYROX training program: Practice stringing multiple sets of high reps together in training. What high reps is for you will differ by the way. See how the first set goes on the day. Have 2 or 3 rep schemes to go to. If set 1 goes well... Go with plan A. If it feels alright but not as easy as you'd hoped... Plan B. If it's completely horrendous after the first 5 reps... Have a contingency for this. Also, know that sets in training will never feel like the race. I can do multiple sets of 50 with short breaks. I can do 100 unbroken in training in under 3 mins. Ask me to do it after 60 mins racing and I have gotten to 50 before having to break. And even that was to much. A better strategy is to break them into psychological wins. So either reducing number sets with buffer in case of fatigue. eg. 30-25-20-15-10 Or 2 or 3 cluster sets before a break eg. 18-12-rest, 18-12-rest etc. And one on rest, be REALLY strict with yourself in training. Use a true count of 5, not the 5 seconds you'll count when tired at station 8 (that are really more like 25!) But this race taught us a lot: • communication and a clear rep split before the start • eye contact every few reps to switch on time • zero distractions in the Roxzone if you want a fast time We used St. Gallen as a hard training day on the road to HYROX Torino Pro, and I’m genuinely proud of how much Marco pushed through his limits. POV: il tuo teammate flirta con la judge mentre tu stai letteralmente morendo alle wall ball HYROX PRO Doubles, St. Gallen: ultima stazione, gambe in - fiamme, fiato al limite e io che devo pure urlargli “OH, SVEGLIA!” per riportarlo sulla gara. Too many athletes ease up the moment they step off the run. Big mistake. The real race starts the second you enter the ROX zone. This is where seconds slip away or where you steal them back. That 1% difference between a good time and a great one? It’s right here. Run through the ROX. Keep the gas on. This is your chance to overtake. To send a message. To step on the rower before they do. To force them to panic when they thought they had a moment to breathe. I personally love playing mind games in the ROX zone. Be savage — take people over right before they’re about to start a station. Watch them crumble when they expected calm, but got chaos. DWA NAJBARDZIEJ ZDRADLIWE MIEJSCA HYROX: SKIERG & SLED PUSH 🔥 Są dwie stacje, które potrafią zabić cały wyścig szybciej niż cokolwiek innego: SkiErg i Sled Push. Nie dlatego, że są najcięższe fizycznie — tylko dlatego, że prowokują do najgorszych decyzji. 1️⃣ SKIERG — MIEJSCE, GDZIE ODCINA PRĄD Najczęstszy błąd: zryw na początku. Adrenalina, tłum, emocje… i zawodnik nagle robi SkiErg jak finał mistrzostw świata. Problem w tym, że: 👉 Na SkiErgu nie urwiesz dużo sekund 👉 Za to możesz stracić wszystko, jeśli wejdziesz za wysoko z tętnem 👉 Po wyjściu z ergometru nogi są miękkie, a bieg natychmiast się sypie SkiErg ma być kontrolą, nie heroizmem: ✔️ Równe tempo ✔️ Zero zrywów ✔️ Technika > ambicja Tu masz nie stracić, a nie zyskać. 2️⃣ SLED PUSH — STACJA, KTÓRA POTRAFI ZŁAMAĆ NOGI 🛷 Dwie główne pułapki: ❌ Brak pauz Pchanie non stop = ogromny mleczan w nogach. Druga połowa toru idzie potem jak w smole. ✔️ Krótkie 3–7 sekund przerwy często ratują cały segment. ❌ Jedna strategia na każdy dywan A dywany różnią się dramatycznie: śliskie, ciągnące, suche, wolne. A ludzie pchają zawsze tak samo. Musisz umieć zmieniać: ✔️ wysokość chwytu ✔️ długość pchnięć ✔️ kąt nachylenia ✔️ pauzy co kilka metrów, jeśli dywan „ciągnie” Sanki to technika + taktyka, nie tylko siła. KLUCZ DO OBU STACJI? STABILNE TEMPO BIEGOWE. Jeśli biegniesz nierówno — SkiErg Cię dobije, a sanki dobiją do końca. Jeśli biegniesz równo — obie stacje stają się zadaniem, nie tragedią. Trenując HYROX, pamiętaj: ❌To nie jest wyścig siłowy. To wyścig energetyczny i taktyczny. Wygrywa nie najsilniejszy, tylko najbardziej opanowany.
