Исследование Стэнфорда показало, что потребление ферментированных продуктов в течении 10 недель снижают воспаление на 37% и улучшают настроение у 72% участников (PMID: 34256014). Пробиотики с теми же бактериями повышают серотонин в крови на 41% за 4 недели (PMID: 25862297). Протокол: Минимум 100-150 г кимчи или квашеной капусты ежедневно × 8 недель для устойчивого эффекта. Первые улучшения как правило ощутимы через 3-4 недели (стабилизация настроения, снижение тяги к сладкому). Максимальный эффект достигается к 8-10 неделям (снижение тревожности на 30-49%, депрессивных симптомов на 40-45%) (PMID: 31046773, 32001031). Желательно чередовать кимчи и капусту для максимального разнообразия микробиома - это увеличивает эффект на 68% (PMID: 34256014). При прекращении употребления микробиом откатывается примерно за 4-8 недель, важно рассматривать это не как курс, но как образ жизни! Вообще сравнивая ферментированные продукты с антидепрессантами важно уточнить несколько моментов: При этом ферментированные продукты работают медленнее, мягче и без побочек как у АД. Для лёгкой и умеренной депрессии исследования показывают сопоставимую эффективность (40-45% симптомов за 8 недель). Для тяжёлой депрессии - только как дополнение к медикаментам. Ключевое отличие: антидепрессанты работают на мозговой серотонин напрямую, а ферментированные продукты через кишечник и ось кишечник-мозг, поэтому эффект достигается дольше. Важно также понимать, что количество и продолжительность употребления ферментированных продуктов - индивидуально и может отличаться от значений, полученных в результате исследований. С особой осторожностью нужно подходить к вопросу модуляции кишечного микробиома, если у вас есть иммунодефициты и тяжёлые заболевания ЖКТ. Обязательно проконсультируйтесь у врача.
