SLDid you know, three fingered sloths don't sweat at all! However, two fingered sloths have the ability to sweat tiny amounts from the tip of their noses. 🐽🥰
Sloths are poikilotherm, which is unusual for a mammal. This means they cannot regulate their body temperature and rely on their environment to cool down and warm up.
As a result; sloths produce no body odour and smell earthy, just like the jungle! This helps them avoid detection from predators that rely on scent to find prey. 🌳
