Here is how I always start my soffit. I always start in the peak and work my way down. It just gives a cleaner look. Yes it can be a bit more work when it comes to install the fascia. But that’s fine by me. Vented soffit is basically never needed is gables so I do non-vented soffit in the gables and vented in the eves. On this particular job it was just a small wood shed the homeowner was tired of looking at the wood soffit and fascia so they wanted it covered. Plus those carpenter bees loooove to nest through the wood on these little wood sheds. So the aluminum help with that. Also I’m sorry I’m wearing gloves cause it’s cold and hearing protection cause cutting that metal with a saw is loud and I like to listen to music while I work. 🎧 #thebeardedsider #diy #howto #tip #soffit
