Pyer is a small village area in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, surrounded by traditional Kashmiri villages, orchards, and open karewa lands that are known for fruit cultivation like almonds, apples, and walnuts. The calm rural setting makes it perfect for nature lovers and photographers.
🚗 Distance from Srinagar
Pyer (Pulwama) is roughly 27–30 km from Srinagar, and it usually takes about 30–40 minutes by car depending on traffic.
🗺️ How to Reach
From Srinagar you can drive via:
Srinagar → Pampore → Kakapora → Pulwama → Pyer
The road passes through saffron fields of Pampore and scenic villages before reaching the almond orchards. Private cars, taxis, and local transport are easily available.
