Making smooth animated captions in Premiere Pro just got much easier. You don’t need After Effects for this. ⚠️ Quick Fix If this is not working, make sure your text has no shadow. Once captions are done, nest the text and then add shadow if needed. Line bias and word bias can change based on video size. Try different settings, find what looks good, and save it as a preset. Keywords: Premiere Pro captions, smooth captions, animated captions, subtitles in Premiere Pro, reels captions, shorts captions, no after effects

You ll see 3 layers : overlay clip, original clip and text , make sure the overlay clip is the first layer and it comes before the text layer.
