REMy sister is lower functioning than most people with down syndrome because she has an interesting type of down syndrome that is not the norm. She quite literally needs help with almost everything from cutting her food to using the restroom so if anything were to happen to her even though she’s a 26-year-old adult it would still be my fault or the person watching her. There is so much mentally that comes with knowing she is essentially a forever child and the anxiety and precautions can only do so much. #downsyndrome #t21 #explorer #sisters
