When a prompt arrives at your API, it’s first sent to a tiny, fast classifier model (like a fine-tuned Phi-3). This “router agent” classifies the prompt’s difficulty (e.g., simple_summarization, complex_code_gen). 3. Based on that tag, your API backend routes the prompt to the right model: Phi-3 for simple, Llama 3 70B for medium, and GPT-4o for hard. 4. Data/Infra: A simple database (like PostgreSQL) to log every request, the “difficulty” tag, and the cost saved. _____ 2.
