I have quite big feet but it often means that I slop around in the shoe width… well not in these! And they are sooo cute! I will be wearing these ( and the stripes) for the foreseeable future- just couldn’t decide on the jacket! Which one do you think! Happy Friday! Which sandal is saving your feet and which one’s secretly causing your pain? Here’s my breakdown as a podiatrist: ✔️ Teva Classic – Great if you’ve got a bit of arch pain and need light support but if you have a very flat foot and need a lot of support, maybe not for you. ❌/✔️Flip-flop Rumba – Bit of a fad, I don’t believe in their arch support but not bad for Achilles tendinopathy. ✔️ Birkenstock Arizona – Firm, supportive, and ideal for overpronators. ✔️ Tread Labs Salinas – One of the best for plantar fasciitis if you walk a lot. I think it’s a really well made sandal, you’ll get a lot of miles out of it and it offers all the support you need ❌ Beach Jelly Flip-Flops – These are probably causing your foot pain. Bin them. ✔️ Vionic Tide II – Amazing for plantar fasciitis or posterior tibial tendinopathy. These are really supportive and well made but being a flip flops have their limitations ✔️ Clarks Arwell Glide – A smart sandal with arch support and great structure. ✔️ Oofos Slide – A must-have for home use with plantar fasciitis, a favourite recommendation of mine for my patients!
