As of today, Feb 16, 2026, the “0-point fix-it ticket” is officially a myth. The NY DMV just dropped the hammer on window tints.
It’s now 1 POINT PER WINDOW. Think about the math:
✅ 2 front windows = 2 points.
✅ 2 back windows = 2 points.
✅ Back glass = 1 point.
That’s 5 points in one stop. And since the suspension limit just dropped to 10 points... you’re two stops away from a bus pass. 🚌
