MAHiking & exploring in Kamakura Part 1🏃♀️➡️
Hi, we are living in Tokyo and we are both explorers at heart🤍
It was our first hike as a married couple, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment👌💕
Kamakura is filled with nature, historical spots, old Japanese-style architecture, unique shops and so much more. So of course, I had to make 2 videos to share our journey at this amazing place.
We spent the entire day at Kamakura and felt like we needed at least 3 more days!
We first hiked the mountain which has The Great Buddha, Kamakura Daibutsu. It was only my second time hiking, and I loved this kind of rocky, crooked, non-paved path! Biker shorts are def not the best thing to walk in the mountain😬
But I was so thrilled to see the massive statue (Daibutsu) that I had seen in my school textbook as a kid!
Can you believe that it was first built in 1252?! After lots of repairs; like after being hit by a tsunami, it’s calmly sits through all the generations.
As soon as we finished the hiking trail, we found this old school building that almost looked abandoned from the outside.
We couldn’t help but peek inside, and we found an amazing restaurant that has been beautifully renovated; a once 90y old pressurized water pumping station!
We came in as they were closing, but they kindly let us take a look at the inside and we fell in love. How they mingled the modern design with remaining parts of the building, just gorgeous.

シェアしたいこと盛りだくさんなので2つに分けて投稿するよ
自然も文化も歴史ある建物や目新しいもの全部がいい感じに織り混ざっていて、あと3日必要なくらいすごい楽しかった
教科書で見た鎌倉大仏がある山でハイキングしたんだけど、
ハイキング今回が2回目で、前回は高尾山だったからバイカーショーツでキメていったんだけどみんなはぜったいにバイカーショーツで行っちゃダメ🙂
道無き道を行くから段差もたくさんあるし草木に覆われてるけどそれが楽しくて
新潟で育った私にとってはこうゆう大自然大好きだからどストライクだった！🌱
途中で鎌倉大仏を見て彼と少しだけ日本史を学んで、
ハイキングコースを抜けたら廃墟みたいな建物を見つけたの
2人で覗いてみたらめちゃおしゃレストランで！
閉店間際にも関わらず店員さん優しくて中を見させてくれて
90年前に建てられた加圧ポンプ所をリノベしたレストランでモダンな感じを出しつつも建物の形状と以前の状態を生かしたデザインになってて、ふたりで舐めまわすように店内観察してた笑

🔹پهلوان محمود خوارزمی، مشهور به پوریای ولی، از بزرگترین چهرههای پهلوانی و اخلاقی ایرانزمین بود💪. او در حدود سال ۶۵۳ هجری قمری (۱۲۵۵ میلادی) در شهر کهنهگرگانج از نواحی خوارزم (در ازبکستان امروزی) زاده شد. پدرش را پهلوان حیدر خراسانی میدانند، مردی اهل فتوت و زورخانه📿🤼.
پوریای ولی در دوران پرآشوب پس از حمله مغولان 👿 به ایران رشد کرد؛ زمانی که نهتنها خاک ایران، بلکه روح مردم نیز زخمی بود. در چنین فضایی، او با تکیه بر زور بازو، صفای دل، و عرفان درونی ، به الگویی از جوانمردی بدل شد☝️.
⭐ او در ورزشهای زورخانهای، بهویژه کشتی، بیرقیب بود. اما آنچه نامش را جاودانه کرد، نه پیروزیهایش، بلکه شکست آگاهانهاش بود. در یکی از معروفترین روایتها، وقتی فهمید مادر حریفش برای پیروزی پسرش دعا کرده، عمداً کشتی را واگذار کرد تا دل مادری نشکند. این شکست، او را به قهرمانی ابدی تبدیل کرد😍.
✍️ پوریای ولی تنها پهلوان نبود؛ او شاعر و عارف نیز بود. تخلص شعریاش "قتالی" بود و اثر عرفانیای به نام "کنزالحقایق" از او بهجا مانده که در آن از عشق، اخلاق، و سلوک معنوی سخن گفته است.
⚰️ او در سال ۷۲۲ هجری قمری (۱۳۲۲ میلادی) در شهر خوی درگذشت. آرامگاهش در همانجا قرار دارد و هنوز هم محل زیارت اهل فتوت، ورزشکاران زورخانهای، و جویندگان اخلاق است.
