COUpdate: no perishables, no clothes or bedding, electronics, appliances.
Shovels, rakes, squeegees, rubber gloves, duct tape, sharpies, gallon or larger ziploc bags, boots/slippers, buckets, first aid kits, flashlight, headlamps, hand sanitizers, fuel cans, tarps, brooms/mops & buckets are some things amongst many that have been highly requested.
The items that I dropped off were towels, clothes, toiletries like toothpaste, tooth brush, shampoo, conditioner, body soap liquid and bars, razors, paper towels, toilet paper, heavy duty garbage bags, hygienic items, cases of water, squeegees, buckets, batteries, flashlights, butane, sternos, slippers, can openers canned goods, eggs, packaged, and canned goods, dog/cat food, feminine hygiene things, baby things likes wipes & diapers, cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes, sponges, cleaning agents, etc so it looks like they do accept almost every kind of donation!!

Thank you to those who allowed me to pickup their donations!! They were all delivered!
They will be open again tomorrow from 10am. Gonna try go as many times as I can this week. If you need a ride out there to maybe volunteer at the donation sites or to shovel/help clean homes, or want to send a generous amount of donations to be delivered from town, lmk. We can try coordinate a carpool/shuttle. There were little to no parking so it’ll be wise to carpool or get dropped off if looking to provide help out there. There’s a lot of work to be done. Lāʻie, Mākaha, Waimānalo, needs help as well!! God bless everyone who continue to show up!!!

MIMark your calendars for our upcoming Stuff-A-Trucks! During these donation events, held at local parishes, we collect clothing, household goods, linens, furniture, etc. for our neighbors in need. Additionally, we welcome donations of bicycles, helmets, locks and backpacks for our neighbors needing transportation.
It's easy to participate:
- Clean out your closets, cupboards and garages.
- Put your clothing and other soft goods donations into plastic trash bags and place household items in boxes.
- Find a date that works for you.
- Simply drive up, unload your donations and place them by the truck.

When I put together the flyer for this donation drive, I certainly didn't expect to receive the kind of participation I did. All I can say is that when a community comes together, it's powerful. I still get the occasional "no" and "get off my property,” but I keep moving with my goal clear in mind. I'm truly moved by the contribution of my community! Stay tuned for more on the donation.
