MONewJeans’ label Ador has filed a civil lawsuit seeking more than 43 billion won (around US$29.7 million) in damages against former member Danielle, her family member and ex-CEO Min Hee-jin, according to local reports.
Ador claimed they played a major role in triggering the dispute and delaying the group’s return, The Korea Times reported.
The saga traces back to late 2024, when all five members sought to leave Ador following Min’s resignation among other issues including alleged mistreatment.
At present, only Haerin, Hyein and Hanni remain with the group, while discussions with Minji are ongoing.
