ABThe truth is, there is NO governing agency that oversees herbalism here in the US. So be mindful of that when working with an herbalist. Don’t ask questions like “what license do you hold?” or “are you certified?” Ask instead: “Where did you go to school?” “Who is your herbal mentor?” and “What is your success rate with clients?”
Asking the question “Are you a registered herbalist?” will also help you find herbalists who have invested time and education to receive credentials from the #AHG.
