THARBA has caused more damage to rabbits than any group I have ever seen. They take an animal that feels stress at a level most mammals cannot even comprehend and reduce it to a checklist of body parts. They do not care about temperament. They do not care about stability. They do not care about whether the rabbit can live in a real home with real people.
And the way they “train” is a joke. There is no training. There is no socialization. There is no emotional development. They force rabbits into submission until the rabbit freezes and holds a pose. That is it. That is the entire skill set. Hold still on a table. Look pretty for ten seconds. Go back in the cage.
This is the system people defend. This is the system people brag about. A system that produces scared rabbits, shut down rabbits, rabbits that were never bred or raised to function as pets.
I do not respect the ARBA. I do not respect the standards. I do not respect any program that chooses appearance over welfare. The future of rabbits is temperament. The future is confidence. The future is animals that actually enjoy being pets.
Everything else is outdated and harmful.
