AdBlue is a special fluid used in modern diesel vehicles to reduce harmful exhaust emissions.
It is not a fuel additive and it does not mix with diesel.
It is stored in a separate tank in the vehicle.
AdBlue is made of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionized water.
2️⃣ Where is AdBlue used?
It is mainly used in modern diesel vehicles with emission control systems.
In India, it is commonly found in vehicles that follow BS6 emission standard.
It works with a system called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).
3️⃣ What is the use of AdBlue?
AdBlue helps to reduce pollution from diesel engines.
When the vehicle runs:
AdBlue is injected into the exhaust system.
It reacts with harmful gases like Nitrogen Oxides (NOx).
These harmful gases are converted into harmless nitrogen and water vapor.
