Mesa Rosa might actually be my favorite playground… that just happens to be attached to a Mexican restaurant 😂 Like yes I know technically it’s the other way around, but if you have kids you get it. Huge outdoor playground, tons of space, and seating where you can actually sit, eat, and somewhat relax while they run wild. It’s the kind of place where you meet a friend for “lunch” and end up staying way longer than planned. And the food is actually good which feels like a win because usually it’s one or the other. We love supporting local spots like this, especially here in Round Rock. This is exactly the kind of place that makes everyday life feel easier and honestly more fun. We have come here several times over the last few years. Here is what I love about this location! It is very child friendly & pet friendly, located away from busy streets. The train ride length is 15 minutes - perfect, especially for younger kiddos. All of my kids 11 and under rode on the self-driving miniature train set. The playground is fun! BONUS: This area is heavily shaded with HUGE oak trees which provide an escape from Texas heat. The train departs at :20 & :40 every hour. Tickets are UNDER $4! HAVE FUN!
