If you love cardio and running but skip leg day… we need to talk 😅 Here’s the real reason BFT members should prioritise leg training: Stronger legs = faster running. Every stride is a single-leg power movement. The more force you can produce through your glutes, quads and hamstrings, the more efficient and powerful your stride becomes. That means better speed without necessarily increasing effort. Stronger legs = less injury. Most running injuries aren’t from “too much running” — they’re from weak glutes, unstable hips, and underdeveloped hamstrings. When your legs are strong, they absorb load properly instead of dumping it into your knees, calves or shins (hello shin splints 👀). At BFT, the people who lift heavy and train legs properly? They’re the ones hitting PBs in cardio blocks. Cardio without strength is just surviving. Cardio with strength is performance. 💪🔥 #bftcarina #8weekchallenge #fitness #brisbanegym #strengthtraining
