IMI hear a lot of lawyers need some help tracking their billable hours! It’s easy to become consumed in our everyday tasks and it’s common to forget all about tracking our hours.
Tracking billable hours in big law can be a challenge, but there are some helpful tips that can make the process easier.
👉🏽Make sure you keep detailed records of all billable hours you work. This can include timesheets, project logs, and any other documentation that will help you accurately track your hours.
👉🏽Set up a system that works for you and stick to it. It could be as simple as an Excel spreadsheet or something more robust like a time-tracking app.
👉🏽Set aside time each day to review and update your records to make sure you’re staying on top of your hours.
