JO‘tis the season to put it down!!
I mean…are you even living life if you’re reading books you don’t like? I think not. But that’s just me. Maybe it’s because I have a toddler and a four-year-old monopolizing most of my time these days, but I have really started taking a more hardline stance when it comes to what reading I prioritize. If a book isn’t catching my attention or keeping me turning pages, it’s a surefire sign to PUT IT DOWN. It’s okay! In fact, I’ve DNF’d two books just this week. And I have no regrets! I’ve found that there’s always a time and a place for most books, and maybe the time is a few months from now. Maybe it’s trying the audio instead of the ebook. Maybe it’s time to switch up genres, or just take a break from reading. Watch some TV (i highly recommend ALL HER FAULT!). Read a People Magazine. The books will always be waiting for me!
