I became a certified breathwork practitioner before I became a Christian. And when I surrendered my life to Christ, I was told it was demonic. So I stopped, except something in my gut told me this wasn’t true… The more I studied, the more realized that breath isn’t the problem. What you do with it is. Genesis 2:7 says God “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Breath is how God made us alive. It’s sacred. Job 33:4 says, “The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” The Hebrew word “ruach” means both breath and spirit. They’re connected. And in John 20:22, Jesus breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Breath as a vehicle for the Spirit isn’t not demonic - it’s biblical. What becomes dangerous is when you’re opening doors you don’t understand, welcoming in things you haven’t discerned. But intentional breathwork, grounded in Christ? (This is key) It’s helped me and others I’ve guided heal trauma our prayers alone couldn’t reach. Your nervous system holds what your mind forgot. And sometimes God uses more than words to set you free. Not everything “New Age” is evil. Some of it’s just been misused. Stay rooted. Stay discerning. Le Breathwork est un outil simple et puissant pour calmer le stress et l’anxiété en quelques minutes. Il agit en stimulant notre système d’apaisement naturel : le système nerveux parasympathique. Des recherches montrent qu’une technique appelée soupir physiologique aide à réguler rapidement le système nerveux en cas de stress. Comment faire ? 1️⃣ Inspire 2 fois de suite par le nez (deux petites inspirations rapprochées). 2️⃣ Expire lentement et longuement par la bouche (plus long que les inspirations). 3️⃣ Répète 3 à 5 fois, ou plus. 💡Pourquoi insister sur l’expiration ? C’est elle qui active le système de détente du corps. Plus l’expiration est longue, plus elle envoie un signal de calme et de sécurité au cerveau. Un geste simple, accessible partout… pour revenir au calme, naturellement.
