OUThe e-mail reminding parents that kids must wear their school hat to protect their head or they won't be allowed to play outside on sunny days made me laugh 😂 🤭
A few differences in our school experience in 🏴 vs 🇺🇸:
- Required to wear a hat to go outside in the sun versus no specific rules about what to wear outside
- Our spring break here is just over 3 weeks versus one week in the US
- We're charged a fine here per parent per kid if the kids miss school. This would cause an outrage back home 😂
- School is year round here and summer break is 6 weeks from mid July - August. I LOVE this schedule and think I prefer it! Their old school got out at the end of May and went back early August.
