Saying “It is what it is” is essentially like shutting the door and locking it. 🔒
You are claiming that the circumstance/option is over and there is no need to contemplate it any further.
This completely blocks the opportunity to determine what it is you actually want and what action/decision you can take to make it better.
And HEY, It’s ok if you no longer feel aligned with your personal brand or service offerings.
You may be experiencing a moment of growth and transition! 🦋
Instead of listening to a podcast or buying the latest self help book I want you to PAUSE. 🛑
Pause with purpose, be in the present, and ask yourself this…💭
-Do you find yourself daydreaming about being somewhere else or doing something else?
-Do you feel like the work you’re doing is mundane and without a purpose?
-Are you bored at your job or with what you’re offering? Does it feel stagnant?
-Do you no longer feel joy in what you’re doing?
-Are minor irritations becoming major problems?

That’s why it’s so important to distinguish between a slump and something more.
