You HAVE to add this epic destination to your Australia Bucket list 📌
This jetty is almost 2km long!! It’s so long you can actually get a train to the end or take a leisurely 25 minute stroll. Along the way if you are lucky you can even see some incredible wildlife! We spotted birds, fish and even dolphins 🐬
But the best part is when reach the end of the jetty there’s an underwater observatory & museum where you can walk down the spiral staircase and view what’s underneath the pier! The pillars are covered in coral and there’s so many fishies swimming around! It’s actually one of the only few natural aquariums in the world 🌎 🐟
And did we mention you can also snorkel off the end of the pier and experience it up close in the water! 😱

PI🦘 LOCAL KANGAROO HAILED A HERO IN BUSSELTON 🦘
A Busselton kangaroo is being dubbed an unlikely hero after reportedly preventing what could have been a serious collision involving electric bikes and passing vehicles. 🚲🚗
Witnesses say the roo suddenly bounded across the road, causing riders and drivers to slow sharply just moments before two e-bikes approached an intersection at speed. What initially looked like chaos may have unintentionally forced traffic to reduce speed — potentially avoiding a far worse outcome.
Locals described the scene as “heart-in-mouth stuff,” with some calling the kangaroo’s timing unbelievable. While wildlife on WA roads is usually seen as a hazard, in this case it may have been the reason everyone walked away safely.
No injuries have been reported, and the kangaroo reportedly hopped off unharmed.

SAMade a dash down to Busselton and walked the jetty, I love it here. The beaches are beautiful and you can have it almost all to yourself.
It's one of the first places I brought Charlie when we first got together and it's always beyond spesh being back.

BUThe 28th annual @busseltonjettyswim was a major success yesterday with a record-breaking 4000+ swimmers participating throughout the day!! 🏊💙

AUThis is how we spent a day in Busselton.
📍got a coffee and walked along the beautiful foreshore.
The kids played in the park and had a splash in the crystal clear water.
📍 we booked the Underwater Observatory Tour, which includes the train ride - $40A, $25C. It's a 40-minute tour of the Observatory with a guide, and the train is about 45 minutes return. We enjoyed it but wouldn't do the tour again. It was cool to see under the jetty but not for the price we paid.
📍then we then had a late lunch and a couple of drinks at Shelter Brewery. Can definitely recommend the ginger beer on tap and tasting platter 👌
We were really surprised how much we liked Busselton, such a cool little town with beautiful beaches.
