Things to remember during a stress interview: 1) Saying “I don’t know” is completely fine. You can say, “I’m not able to recall it right now, but I’ll definitely read about it’’ 2) If they still ask you to guess, don’t go blank. Start breaking the problem down and think out loud. They’re watching how you think, not whether you’re right. 3) It’s okay to take a few seconds. Just say, “Let me think for a moment.” Or ‘’let me gather my thoughts’’. 4) Even if you’re nervous inside, try not to show it too much. The more nervous you look, the more they’ll push. We work through an example where we need to find the interest rate given two installment payments of 530 and We demonstrate testing the 10% option first, which doesn’t match our second installment amount, then try 8% which gives us the correct answer. The rest is bonuses, variables, PF - money you won’t see for years. 2️⃣ Loan becomes prison ₹25 lakh debt kills your freedom. Want to start something? Try a startup? You can’t. You’re locked into corporate for 3-5 years minimum. 3️⃣ MBA is not about learning The curriculum is average. Professors are hit or miss. But your peer group? That’s the real MBA. MBA = networking. Period. 4️⃣ Placements are pure lottery You get ONE shot per company. Get selected early? You’re out of the entire process. Can’t sit for anyone else. So if your dream company is coming in 2 days, you can’t risk it. Because if you get selected today, you’re done. No second chances. No choosing. It’s random. It’s stressful.
