My kids BEG for this. 🍝 Hidden veggies! ✨✨ Comment PLAN to grab my brand new, free non-toxic cancer protocol guide + anti-cancer grocery list and habit checklist printables! 🤩 ➡️ Comment THRIVE (separate comment) to join my anticancer coaching membership with the world's first anti-cancer focused library of recipes +tons more! 🤩 Cancer Prevention Spaghetti 😍 (I have a large family of 8, so this recipe will serve about 10 servings or you can freeze leftovers!) ➡️ Ingredients: 6 carrots diced tiny or shredded 1/4 head purple cabbage, shredded 1/2 onion, chopped 4 Roma tomatoes, crushed 1 Tbsp dried basil 1 Tbsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 Tbsp chopped garlic (I used organic jarred for ease but fresh is best for anti-cancer benefits) ➡️ Directions: 1. Process all veggies in a food processor or chop VERY small (important for picky eaters)  2. Saute’ first 4 veggies and all spices in water until very soft (about 15-20 minutes.) Reduce to low, cover, and allow to steam. May need to add more water to avoid sticking to the pan. 3. Add garlic in and saute or steam for 5 more minutes.  4. Add in 2-3 cups of any protein of choice. Cooked lentils are the most anti-cancer, but sometimes I will do cooked organic ground turkey or grass-fed bison or beef.  5. Add in 2 quarts of any organic jarred marinara of your choice. Low sugar is great if you can find it. The carrots actually make this a bit sweeter than normal and the kids love it! Mix and enjoy! Big consequences. 1️⃣ Stop buying pre-cut fruits and veggies They oxidize quickly, lose nutrients, and are often treated with preservatives to maintain shelf life. Buy whole. Cut fresh. It matters. 2️⃣ Stop buying pre-shredded cheese That powdery coating? Anti-caking agents like cellulose and additives. Shred your own. It melts better and your gut will thank you. 3️⃣ Stop eating microwave popcorn The chemicals in the bag lining + inflammatory oils = a hard no. If you want popcorn, air-pop it on the stove with real butter or avocado oil. 4️⃣ Stop giving kids stainless steel straws They can cause serious injury if a child falls. Silicone is safer. Or skip straws entirely. 5️⃣ Stop wearing sunglasses all the time Morning sunlight in your eyes (without lenses) helps regulate circadian rhythm, hormones, and sleep cycles. Protect your eyes when needed... but don’t block light 24/7. 6️⃣ Stop skipping Vitamin D... for you and your kids Vitamin D is critical for immune strength, inflammation control, and cancer prevention. Most people are deficient and don’t know it. 7️⃣ Stop using regular tea bags Many contain microplastics and bleached paper. Choose loose leaf tea instead. Your hormones will thank you. 8️⃣ Stop unlimited iPad/tablet time for kids Excess screen exposure impacts dopamine, sleep, attention, and nervous system regulation. Keep it to 30–60 minutes max per day. 9️⃣ Stop buying coffee out every single day Most coffee shop drinks are loaded with sugar, seed oils, and mold-contaminated beans. Make clean, organic coffee at home. 🔟 Stop drinking large amounts of water immediately after meals It can dilute stomach acid and weaken digestion. Sip if needed, but let your body digest properly. These aren’t extreme changes. They’re foundational. Health is not about perfection. It’s about removing daily stressors your body was never designed to handle. After I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, I believed almost everything I read online about cancer prevention. I took matters into my own hands and followed all the advice I could find. I ended up in food prison from all the strict rules. I was miserable (and still terrified of every bite) Then in 2021, I was diagnosed again with a new, unrelated triple negative breast cancer. I knew it was time to do things differently. I worked with a top cancer expert and studied to become a certified Integrative Nutrition Coach so I could finally understand what actually matters. BIGGEST MISTAKE: I never checked to see if any of those habits were backed by real scientific evidence in people. Most of them weren’t Before you make any decisions about food, supplements, or lifestyle, ask one important question: Is this backed by real research in people? That question can save you years of stress, fear, and unnecessary rules.
