Even if you’re doing it, most people coach the Arm Swing Run with misguided emphasis. The focus usually goes straight to the legs while the arms get very little attention. Yes, this drill hits hamstrings, dorsiflexion, and ankle stiffness. All great benefits, absolutely. But it’s a huge missed opportunity if you don’t put the majority of your attention on the arm swing. Since the thigh drive is removed, the body has to rely on the arms and a bit of dorsiflex dig to create momentum. Suddenly the arms become the major driver. Athletes are forced to understand the power of their arm swing and sharpen the mechanics that carry them through the drill. Pro tip: this must be coached with a sharp eye. Without a strong arm swing, athletes get sporadic, rocking side to side and wasting energy trying to move forward. This is where the Two8 Band comes in. It reinforces posture, alignment, and pinpoint mechanics of the arm swing. It's like stacking a cheat code on top of a cheat code for get-offs and especially in the closing meters of a race. Watch closely. The athlete with the more active arms is usually the one who pushes through the line first, especially when chasing someone down. #moveBetter #coachBetter

Just Incase you wanted the tips again we’ve reposted the caption below ⬇️ Here are our Top Tips for AMAZING Jumps Want cleaner, higher, sharper jumps? Focus on the below👇 1️⃣ Lift before you kick. Get height first, then snap those legs. 2️⃣ Power starts low. Strong jumps come from bent knees and an explosive push through the floor. 3️⃣ Arms equal speed. Sharp, consistent swings create timing and lift. 4️⃣ Lock and lift your core. Control the jump and stop that forward chest drop. 5️⃣ Snap don’t swing. Legs hit their position fast and clean. 6️⃣ Toes matter. Pointed toes and straight legs complete the picture. 7️⃣ Land soft and stay tall. Control every inch of the landing. 8️⃣ Drills build mastery. Tuck jumps, seated leg snaps, and resistance work build strength and control. 9️⃣ Consistency over height. Clean always wins. 🔟 Film and feedback. Record, review, refine. Clean technique is what makes a jump pop. Often times it’s simple, realistic small changes paired with accountability.
