We officially closed sign ups for March mail yesterday, which means we’re now heading into month 4 of our mail club. I think one of the most difficult parts of running a mail club is estimating how many people will sign up and how many might pause or cancel each month. In the beginning, I ordered 120 sets of stickers for April mail, hoping we would reach that goal. Instead… we exceeded it. We actually experienced 90% growth from February, which meant I had to place two more orders with my manufacturer to make sure everyone gets their April mail. But honestly, I think I’ve been extremely lucky. Since January, only about 10 of you have paused or cancelled, which made that part much easier than I expected. The hard part is really the overthinking. I’m a lot like Brownee the bear (who you’ll see in April’s mail). I tend to think about every possible scenario… “What if no one signs up this month?” “What if a lot of members cancel?” Those thoughts aren’t very fun to sit with. But one thing that helps me so much is being busy creating for you. And thanks to this community, I get to do exactly that. So truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for keeping me busy, for encouraging me, and for believing in this little idea.
