I’d be lying if I said I fully accepted finding out I have ADHD last year I think there’s been a disconnect between understanding that’s how my brain works and still wanting to “be like everyone else” There were some really rough moments at the back end of last year when I couldn’t run but I definitely know myself better because of this experience and I know so much more about just how much running adds to my life (and it’s definitely better for everyone involved if I’m able to run please and thanks 😂)
