Divorce is one of the most painful things a person can go through… and no two breakups are ever the same. Every story, every heart, every healing journey looks different. But one thing does remain the same… the only way through it is to turn inward. To work on yourself, to face the hard truths, to rebuild piece by piece. Stay true to who you are, even when everything feels uncertain. And keep moving forward in whatever way you can, at whatever pace you need. Progress is still progress. 🤍 #HealingJourney #DivorceRecovery #SelfGrowth #StayStrong #KeepMovingForward

What happened next wasn’t dramatic. It was practical. This is what I did after I filed and had him served: • I downloaded a marriage agreement template online and reviewed it • We discussed what made the most sense if I moved out • I looked for an apartment for myself • We priced the house and talked through what selling would look like • We decided he would keep the house, and I would move out Ideally, staying would have been easier. But I didn’t want to fight. I wanted peace. I wanted freedom. So I chose the path that allowed me to leave calmly — even if it wasn’t perfect. • He tried to stay calm — but continued to beg and say hurtful things • He told me the kids would hate me for “breaking up the family” • He said they would want nothing to do with me when they grew up I didn’t argue. I didn’t defend myself. I didn’t explain. When he said those things, I simply replied: “We’ll see.” I was scared — but I didn’t let fear make decisions for me. Narcissists predict the future to scare you. Reality is written over time — not in threats. Leaving isn’t always about “winning.” Sometimes it’s about choosing the least harmful option and moving forward. If you’re preparing quietly and trying to figure out your next step, you’re not doing it wrong. 🤍 Resources for every stage — staying, preparing, or leaving — are in my bio. #LeavingANarcissist #DivorceRecovery #SingleMomStrength #CustodyMatters #EmotionalAbuseAwareness

After divorce, it’s so important to shift the focus back to yourself ❤️‍🩹 Before rushing into something new, take time to really understand how you’re showing up, what you’re feeling, and what you truly want next. Dating can absolutely be part of the healing process, but it shouldn’t be about proving your worth or showing others that you’ve ‘moved on’. Instead, see it as a chance for self-discovery, personal growth, and emotional healing. Every date can teach you something about your boundaries, relationship patterns, and the kind of partner and relationship you genuinely want. When you start prioritising self-awareness, self-worth, and emotional wellbeing after divorce, you create space for healthier, more meaningful connections in the future. 💓 #DivorceRecovery #DatingAfterDivorce #SelfGrowth #RelationshipAdvice HealingJourney

Divorce isn’t just emotional. For many women, it’s financial fear. If you feel trapped because of money, you don’t need panic. You need a plan. Here are the steps I used and would tell any woman to follow: 1. Open your own bank account. Quietly and immediately. 2. Build an emergency fund. Even small amounts create leverage. 3. Write out a detailed monthly budget. Rent, food, bills, transport. Know your exact survival number. 4. Speak to a strong lawyer and get proper legal advice. The law is rarely black and white. Know what you’re entitled to before you make emotional decisions. 5. Gather financial documents. Assets, debts, accounts. Make copies. 6. Rebuild your earning power. Update your CV. Call contacts. Upskill if needed. 7. Reduce unnecessary spending. Clarity requires discipline. 8. Give yourself a financial runway. Don’t jump without a structure beneath you. Ask yourself: • Do I actually know the numbers or am I avoiding them? • Have I sought real legal advice or am I guessing? • If I had a six month cushion, would I feel braver? Empowerment is not aesthetic. It’s strategic. If you’re quietly preparing, this is your reminder: Courage feels very different when it’s backed by a plan. Save this. You might need it. #DivorceRecovery #WomenStartingOver #FinancialIndependence #WomenEmpowerment #KnowYourWorth

This was me. This New Year’s may feel less like 🥳 and more like 😥 I’ll never forget this feeling. I had just blown up my entire life by filing for divorce. The “freedom” was terrifying—especially because I had no idea who I even was at that point. Everyone talks about relief. No one talks about the free-fall. The quiet panic when the adrenaline wears off. The grief mixed with guilt mixed with what the hell did I just do. The nights where you’re proud of yourself and heartbroken in the same breath. If this is you right now, hear me: You didn’t ruin your life. You ended a chapter that was slowly erasing you. And if you’re reading this remembering that version of you— the one who was scared but brave, shattered but still standing— this is your reminder: she got you here. And yes, God still loves you. You don’t need to “heal harder.” You don’t need to rush the glow-up. You just need to stop abandoning yourself in this next chapter. Your comeback doesn’t come from proving anything. It comes from choosing yourself—again and again—until your life finally fits who you’ve become. If this hit, you’re not alone. Follow along. This space is for women who didn’t break… they rebuilt. ✨ ⸻ #DivorceRecovery #DivorceGlowUp #HighAchievingWomen #WomenStartingOver #LifeAfterDivorce NewBeginnings HealingJourney ComebackSeason RedefiningSuccess WomenWhoRise

I’ve been doing this work for over 20 years. And in that time I’ve sat across from hundreds of people post-divorce….lawyers, doctors, executives, stay-at-home moms, men who hadn’t cried in decades. All of them stuck. All of them convinced something was wrong with them. Every single time, I ask the same three questions. Every. Single. Time.- someone cries. Not because they’re cruel. Because it’s the first time what’s been happening inside them finally makes sense. Here they are: 1. What did you need most as a child that you didn’t consistently receive? (Not what your parents did wrong. What you needed. There’s a difference.) 2. What is your biggest fear in a relationship? (Being abandoned. Not being enough. Being too much. Get specific.) 3. How many times in your last relationship did you compromise yourself — said yes when you meant no, stayed silent when you needed to speak, made yourself smaller — to avoid that fear coming true? Sit with that last one. This is not about your ex. It never was. It’s about the Blueprint you’ve been running since childhood, and whether you’re going to keep letting it write your future. Drop REBUILD in the comments and I’ll tell you exactly where to start. You deserve a life that doesn’t just look healed. You deserve one that actually is. #DivorceRecovery #HealingAfterDivorce #DivorceCoach #CycleBreaking #RebuildingWorkshop
