Comment “PET CPR” for the link to our resources ⛑️🐕 🫀Chest compressions for pets and human vary a lot 🤯 🔑 Key differences you should know: 1️⃣ for humans it will always be over their sternum (aka breast bone) 2️⃣ for pets, it varies depending on their chest structure (and size) 3️⃣ another variation not shown here is that for barrel chested dogs like Pugs & Frenchies, which would be like that of a human’s: over the sternum Pet CPR (for dogs & cats) used to overwhelm me so much that it took me YEARS to get certified & do my research to thoroughly understand it. But in all those years, I was also extremely worried about needing it and not knowing it.
