He described it as a kind of unspoken code among fans: if someone falls, you pick them back up. The track was built around a heavy guitar riff by C.J. Pierce, with Williams delivering the unforgettable hook, “Let the bodies hit the floor.” The song quickly became a defining track of the early-2000s nu-metal era. It reached #6 on the Mainstream Rock chart and #12 on Alternative Airplay, while the album Sinner went platinum just six weeks after release.
