ON“Even though you meant harm to me, God meant it for good, to achieve this present end, the survival of many people.” - Genesis 50:20. We can see the doing of evil by others be used for good by God. This verse was when Joseph spoke to his brothers, who evilly sold him into slavery in Egypt, due to jealously of his ability to have prophetic dreams. Although Joseph was imprisoned, his gift was noticed by the Pharaoh. And after being troubled by his own dreams, he had Joseph use this gift to interpret his dreams. He foresaw 7 years of abundance followed by 7 years of famine. After proposing a plan to prepare for the famine, Joseph was put in charge to execute his plan, allowing him to save many lives, and was given authority over all of Egypt, second only to the Pharaoh himself.
