COCoach Johnny Loper’s Light Bulb Moment….. When I accepted a full-time position at a Private Christian School, I believed I was doing so for the opportunity to coach my son in football and mentor more kids. Little did I know that God had a more expansive plan for me. Attending work daily is close to attending church and experiencing one of the most amazing worship services. Imagine walking around for 8 hours and continuously witnessing God’s presence in my life. Everyday experiences become increasingly clearer, showing me the purpose God has for me. As a steadfast believer in God, I have always been grateful for the opportunity to deepen my faith. However, being surrounded by individuals who daily share insights on reading the Bible is a profound blessing. While I strive to maintain professionalism at school, occasionally a profound message from the preacher evokes an overwhelming urge to respond with run around or shout (praise break). I am uncertain how the school administration would perceive such a display, but my grandmother’s wise words echo in my mind: “When the spirit moves you, allow it to guide you and if you feel like praising Jesus by shouting then do it.” Lol! Just call me “Shouting John”! Lol #jointhefamily #FACS #changinglives

The orbicularis oculi muscle can move distinct sections independently. A system for taxonomizing facial motions, the Facial Action Coding System (FACS), refers to two of these sections as:
cheek raiser - marked specifically by the orbital region contracting
&
lid tightener - marked specifically by the palpebral region contracting (or, even more specifically by the preseptal area - but more on that on my FACS Cheat Sheet)
Artists and FACS coders often confuse these two movements, which is totally understandable!
