TO👇🚨PHOTOGRAPHY TIP 🚨 👇
Use these settings for your next astrophotography shoot!
Things to consider:
- Shutter speed: 15s or less as more than 15s could result in star trails.
- Aperture: 2.8 or lower in order to let as much light in as possible without compensating too much with iso.
- ISO: 6400 is the sweet spot without making your image too overly grainy.
- Focus: Manual and if you have a newer sony mirrorless camera, you can use the magnifying focus setting to focus on the brightest star manually.
- White balance: 3300k roughly to ensure proper white balance.
- Timer: Set to 2s to ensure no shutter pressing motion.
- These settings are just recommendations and are obviously to be adjusted depending on the environment and camera.
- Tripod is a must for stabilisation.
